During an October 17, 2024 speech at a campaign event in La Crosse, WI, Kamala Harris said, "You guys are at the wrong rally. No, I think you meant to go to the smaller one down the street" after male voices shouted, "Christ is King!” and “Jesus is Lord!".
Snopes, a member of the International Fact Checking Network, acknowledged the exchange, writing:
In our analysis of the clip, we noted Harris did say, "Oh, you guys are at the wrong rally," immediately after two male voices shouted, 'Christ is King' and 'Jesus is Lord,' and a third voice, apparently female, shouted, 'That's a lie'.
