Kamala's Far-Left Voting Record

According to an analysis of roll call Senate votes by Mark P. Jones - the James A. Baker III Institute for Public Policy’s fellow in political science and co-director of its Presidential Elections Program: Since the turn of the century, there’s been eleven complete Congresses with 109 different Democrats serving in the Senate. Of those 109, Kamala Harris has the second-most liberal roll-call voting record. For reference, Biden ranked 57th and Barack Obama came in at 47. Kamala is one person away from having the most far-left Senate voting record of the century to date. (Data provided by the Voteview project, hosted by the UCLA Department of Political Science.)

According to the nonpartisan watchdog group, GovTrack: Kamala was rated the most liberal Senator in 2019.

GovTrack removed Kamala’s 2019 report card after her presidential candidacy was announced, claiming single-year congressional rankings were discontinued. (The archived page is linked below.) However, Her 2020 report card (covering Jan 3, 2019-Jan 3, 2021) is still live, and names her the second most liberal senator, behind Bernie Sanders.

Proof Kamala Was The Border Czar

On March 21, 2021, President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris held a press conference where Biden stated:

There’s about five other major things [Kamala]'s handling, but I’ve asked her, the VP, today – because she’s the most qualified person to do it – to lead our efforts with Mexico and the Northern Triangle and the countries that help – are going to need help in stemming the movement of so many folks, stemming the migration to our southern border.

The Associated Press, Bloomberg, Reuters, and MSNBC all ran headlines March 24, 2021 referring to Kamala’s appointment as border czar, including: “Biden taps VP Harris to lead response to border challenges,” “Biden puts Harris in charge of solving migrant surge at U.S.-Mexico border,” “Migrant surge: Harris will lead on addressing border crisis,” and “President Biden taps Vice President Kamala Harris to lead border efforts.”

Despite recently claiming Kamala was never the “border czar,” Axios reported on April 14, 2021: “Harris, appointed by Biden as border czar, said she would be looking at the "root causes" that drive migration.”

In June 2021, CNN referred to Kamala, on air, as the “border czar.” The Media Research Center has organized a compilation of other outlets doing the same, including MSNBC, ABC, and CBS.

Kamala BLM Riot Donations

The 2020 Minnesota riots, focused in Minneapolis (where George Floyd died) and St. Paul, caused an estimated $500 million in damages. Kamala’s Vice Presidential running mate, Tim Walz, was governor of Minnesota at the time and sharply criticized for his delayed response in deploying the National Guard.
