Martin Kulldorff, PhD | Twitter
- Professor, Medicine, Harvard Medical School
- Biostatistician and Epidemiologist in the Division of Pharmacoepidemiology and Pharmacoeconomics, Brigham and Women’s Hospital
- Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center Data Sciences, Member
- Kulldorff is one of the most cited epidemiologists and infectious-disease experts in the world (25,895 citations as of 6/16/21)
- On March 15, 2021, Kulldorff answered a question with the following tweet:
No. Thinking that everyone must be vaccinated is as scientifically flawed as thinking that nobody should. COVID vaccines are important for older high-risk people, and their care-takers. Those with prior natural infection do not need it. Nor do children.
- Twitter kept the tweet up, but added a disclaimer that Kulldorff's statement was "misleading." The Big Tech giant also prevented any user from liking or retweeting the post.
- Kulldorff was also part of the March 18, 2021 COVID-19 roundtable with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis that was taken down by YouTube.
YouTube Roundtable
On March 18, 2021, several scientists participated in a roundtable on COVID-19, including: Dr. Scott Atlas (Stanford), Sunetra Gupta (Oxford), Dr. Jay Bhattacharya (Stanford), and Martin Kulldorff (Harvard).
YouTube removed the video, stating:
We removed this video because it included content that contradicts the consensus of local and global health authorities regarding the efficacy of masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19. We allow videos that otherwise violate our policies to remain on the platform if they contain sufficient educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic context. Our policies apply to everyone, and focus on content regardless of the speaker or channel.
The original video is still available on The Florida Channel.
James Todaro, MD | Google, Facebook
On July 6, 2020, Breitbart News live-streamed a press conference led by Dr. James Todaro criticizing mainstream COVID-19 responses and claiming that Big Tech platforms were taking "draconian measures” against content that does not line up with the narrative of the World Health Organization (W.H.O.). After garnering over 17 million views, Facebook removed the video.
On March 13, 2020, Todaro published a co-authored article titled, "An Effective Treatment for Coronavirus (COVID-19)" as a Google document. Google removed the document.
After four months of appeals, Google reinstated the paper. In a July 30, 2020 tweet, Todaro wrote:
It’s strange Google reversed this decision IMMEDIATELY before appearing in front of congress today to discuss censorship.
Scientist Quotes
On April 12, 2021, the Office of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis issued a press release with comments from several of the censored YouTube scientists.
