Congressional Testimony
On December 5, 2023, Dr. Claudine Gay (President, Harvard University), Ms. Liz Magill (President, University of Pennsylvania), and Dr. Sally Kornbluth (President, Massachusetts Institute of Technology) testified in front of Congress at the invitation of the Committee on Education and the Workforce.
When questioned by Rep. Elise Stefanik (R - NY), all three university leaders refused to explicitly answer “yes” to the question of whether “calling for the genocide of Jews” violated their respective schools’ policies.
